Clear Creek Recreation Area

Clear Creek Recreation Area serves as a premier camping destination within Bankhead National Forest. Known for its crystal-clear streams, dramatic sandstone bluffs, and access to some of Alabama's most beautiful waterfalls, this area is a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts.

The campground offers both tent and RV sites with modern amenities. From here, visitors can access numerous hiking trails leading to stunning waterfalls and the Sipsey Wilderness, the largest wilderness area east of the Mississippi River.
