The lake is reserved exclusively for electric motors, keeping the water calm and the atmosphere tranquil. More than 35 campsites spread across three loops accommodate both tent campers and RV enthusiasts, while over 8 miles of trails wind through the surrounding forest with stunning lake views at every turn. A sandy swimming beach, amphitheater with interpretive trail, and renovated shelter house round out a destination that offers something for every visitor.
Beyond the lake itself, Tipsaw is home to several notable facilities including the Twin Oaks gathering space, the historic Rickenbaugh House, a playground, and modern restroom and shower buildings.
